We started this as a project for International Women’s Day, and we didn’t want to stop. We wanted to bring a bit of attention to some of the lovely people who make The ARC amazing!

From Volunteers, to Teachers to our Core Team, each of us puts a bit of ourselves into The ARC.

This is a growing collection. If you would like to nominate someone for a spotlight, we’d be delighted!
Please nominate at the bottom of this page.

Diana Turch

Diana started volunteering at the Arc in October 2021 both as a food bank volunteer and our social media manager. Since then, she has been a valuable member of the team both online and offline, making sure to response to any inquiries on the ARC social media platforms.

Yessica

Yessica started at the Arc in September 2021. Since then she has been vital in creating the warm and welcoming environment in the coffee shop. Alongside Alessandro, Yessica runs the Arc coffee shop making the porridge, soups, hot chocolates and all the caffeinated drinks we all love.

Cler Lewis

Cler Leiws has been operating behind the scenes for 5 years to provide the most fun workshops and classes to the community! As a yoga teacher herself, Cler feels like yoga should be accessible to all, independent of circumstances, and it is here at ARC that she can give back to the community.

Judith Shankleman

Judith Shankleman has been volunteering at the Arc's Foodbank for nearly 2 years now. She thought she'd be easing into a relaxing retirement but instead has taken on looking after the sorting, packing and delivery teams and working out how we can best support them and their families.

Florence Robson

Florence writes the ARC's newsletters. She is gathering exciting updates from different team members and shares everything with us, the wider ARC community. She's been doing it for a year or so now, and loves to hear about all the amazing initiatives and activities taking place at the ARC.
